In collaboration with Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum(HRAPF) Visual Echoes For Human Rights Advocacy conducted a law awareness training. We were taken through the the basic concepts of human rights, the right to health and the laws affecting LGBT persons.
The day started with a quiz of what we know about the laws that affect LGBT persons, the challenges they face while accessing justice .Most of our members submitted the challenges they face in their daily lives both physical and cyber security .In groups we looked at safety and security management for LGBT persons. It was an enlightening moment for all participants .
